Vision 2024

Spidertopia The Sounds of Spiderbait is a (hypothetical) exhibition held at the State Library Victoria. This immersive experience is a tribute to the renowned Australian alternative rock sensation Spiderbait.

This project was approached through a mix of both digital and print based outcomes. The event invitation was designed in the form of a CD case, along with a series of column flags, a microsite, teaser film and stickers.

Uber Eats x AO

Get almost, almost anything - maybe even Andy Murray, plus the exciting opportunity to create assets for the Uber Eats Australian Open campaign.

I designed a branded tennis racquet, bag and ball canister for Andy Murray Today interview, banners for the Uber Eats app, and two EDMs.

Design Research Kit

A Design Research Kit involves employing creative research methods by designing engaging activities for a set of participants. This project centred around the topic of misinformation and took the form of a newspaper.

Several people took part, answering a series of questions and activities to inform the direction for the ‘Do Your Damn Research’ Campaign.

Activation*

Nobody is immune to misinformation. This is why we should always be aware of our sources, assumptions and biases. ‘Do Your Damn Research’ is a campaign that encourages critical thinking and fact-checking before accepting information at face value.

By reminding viewers not to believe everything they read on the internet, the campaign instils a sense of accountability for one’s own digital actions.

Not For Nothin’

A new brand identity for WIRES Wildlife Rescue was the focus of this project.

It involved auditing a Not for Profit organisation to understand their mission, values, audience, and issues with existing collateral. This research informed the foundation of a new identity for WIRES, as well as a comprehensive brand guidelines document.

Crocs Drink Bottle Concept

The goal? To design a reusable drink bottle that allows customisability and personalisation through Crocs Jibbitz Charms, as opposed to encouraging the collection of different product colours, to promote more sustainable and mindful user consumption.

The bottle's purpose as a brand extension is to appeal to changing lifestyles and offer more in the Crocs product range. Today, young consumers are increasingly participating in overconsumption behaviours, with a growing trend among Gen Z, of purchasing multiple drink bottles to collect all the colours, defeating the purpose of a reusable item.

Poster a Day

A personal project where I challenged myself to design a poster a day for 50 days (in a row).

POKÉ

Brand identity for POKÉ, a Hawaiian restaurant offering fresh, customisable poke bowls made from high quality ingredients.

Inspiration was drawn from a blend of Hawaiian and Japanese cultures. The wordmark embodies this fusion, with the 'O' in POKE transformed into a bowl shape and chopsticks that cleverly resemble a palm tree, capturing the tropical essence of Hawaii.

The use of rounded rectangles is inspired by the shape of stainless steel gastronorms, the containers used to store the quality, fresh ingredients.

This (hypothetical) project was made as a submission to an Oditi brief challenge.

Observation

Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow is a publication that explores the idea of place.

Observations were recorded through photography, mark-making, and drawing while visiting the suburb of Canterbury, Melbourne.

The synthesis of these observations resulted in a journal exploring three different periods of time and a speculative reimagining of the place.

Esperanto Magazine

During my time at Monash University, I contributed to 3 editions of the design magazine Esperanto.

Astral Collective Logo & Poster

Astral Collective is an instrumental jazz-funk fusion ensemble bringing worldwide sound to Naarm.

In collaboration with band member Flynn ( 🎹 ) and a 30º set square, I brought their logo to life.

Sounding Type

‘We’re Finally Landing’ by HOME is a pure instrumental synth-wave track that conveys a sense of nostalgia. It was the focus of a project exploring the relationship between sound and typography.

This project explores the use of video feedback loops, an effect that is achieved when a camera is pointed at its own playback video monitor. I discovered it as a manual way of distorting type without photo editing.

Marvellous Mavericks

Armstrong is a publication that tells the story of a Marvellous Maverick - the first man on the moon.

Through a blend of photography and typography, the series of pages illustrate the life of Neil Armstrong from beginning to end. It is an inspiring portrait of his legacy and profound impact on space exploration.

Instruction

Design can involve translating complex information into a simplified form. ‘What is the Plot’ is a workbook for primary school kids to guide them through the fundamentals of story writing.

The aim was to present information in an accessible manner to a younger audience. Using just 3 colours, simple text and illustrations, the booklet encourages creativity and critical thinking in kids.

Queensland Academy of English

Logo design for an English school in El Prat, Spain run by a dedicated teacher from Australia with years of experience teaching English to Spanish citizens

The brief? A logo design using Australian inspired elements to create a memorable and distinctive identity that is easily recognisable to the Spanish audience.
